At around 8 a.m., two ticket inspectors went about their work on the tram in Linz. A 16-year-old Russian was also subjected to a check. However, he refused to hand over his driver’s license. The intervening authorities therefore left the tram with the teenager at the next stop. In an unobserved moment, the 16-year-old punched the 59-year-old inspector against his lower lip, so that it immediately burst open and began to bleed profusely. Furthermore, the 16-year-old threatened the second inspector (53) dangerously. The 59-year-old was taken to the hospital after first aid. The 16-year-old is now being reported to the public prosecutor’s office several times.
