Hundreds of young people who are members of Baraya Kang Gibran (BAKAR) held a declaration of support Gibran Rakabuming in the 2024 presidential election. They are pushing for Gibran to become Prabowo Subianto’s vice presidential candidate.
“The action was attended by hundreds of young people and was held in the Karawang Regency cultural village,” said BAKAR coordinator, Edward Jomantara in his statement, Thursday (19/10/2023).
“This movement is a form of joint support in winning Kang Gibran as Prabowo Subianto’s vice presidential candidate. Seeing his achievements in building the city of Solo which has had a very significant impact on improving the community’s economy. Kang Gibran has succeeded in working on an independent economy and a creative economy. There are 17 points in Solo that have become priority development and is in accordance with sustainable development goals,” he explained.
According to him, Gibran is a valuable asset for Indonesia. Edward believes that Gibran is a leader who represents the hopes of the millennial generation.
“With Kang Gibran’s clear evidence of leading the city of Solo, for us as young people the choice is to support Kang Gibran as vice presidential candidate to accompany Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 simultaneous elections,” he added.
