MAASTRICHT – On Saturday evening, several thousand young people gathered in Maastricht for an illegal rave party. They protested against the fact that the night catering industry is not allowed to open in the city on pain of a penalty of 50,000 euros. Shortly before midnight the party seemed to be drawing to a close and many young people had already left.
