A young man died after an accident in Parvenets. The signal was received around 6:20 p.m. this evening, the police in Plovdiv reported.
According to preliminary data, a Volvo car made a U-turn, and a Suzuki motorcycle collided with it.
The 22-year-old motorcyclist was transported by ambulance for emergency medical treatment, but a short time later the police were notified of his death.
The driver of the car is 75 years old. He is to be tested for alcohol and drug use. The scene has been preserved, an inspection is being carried out. The reasons and circumstances leading to the accident are being investigated.
