Woman was reported missing and found dead in apartment
Has something happened to the little “angel”? This is the fearful question people in the US state of Illinois are asking themselves. There the one-year-old Jaclyn “Angel” (German: Engel) Dobbs is missing after her mother Ja’nya Murphy was found dead. Everything indicates that the 31-year-old was murdered, quoted the US broadcaster “ABC7Chicago” a police spokesman.
Police ask the population for information
As the police in Wheeling – a 38,000-inhabitant city north of Chicago – announced, the body of the young woman was found in her apartment last Tuesday. Family members had previously reported Ja’nya Murphy missing because she had not gone to work and had no contact with family members.
The police have so far no clues about the whereabouts of the girl and are asking the population for information.
They are working “actively to ensure the safe return of Angel and to identify and arrest those responsible,” said a statement. (ear)
