Two people drowned in Ahtopol. Yesterday at around 1:25 p.m., the Tsarevo Regional Office received a report of an incident in the northern part of Ahtopol beach, which is unguarded.
A young man began to drown in the sea, reported Burgas 24. A second vacationer entered the water to help, who was also dragged by the sea current.
After about 20 minutes, one body – that of a 24-year-old man from Kostinbrod – came ashore. The death was established by a team of the Emergency Medical Service – Tsarevo who arrived on the spot.
A few hours later, the body of the second man, a 32-year-old man from Dolni Dabnik, was also discovered. The two bodies were taken for autopsy to the “Forensic Medicine” department at the UMBAL – Burgas.
Work on the case continues.
