Young man wanted to sell his PS5, but ends up targeted in attempted theft • Eurogamer.pt

What should have been a simple purchase and sale of a PS5 turned into a shootout scene, with an attempted theft of the console. The crime took place in Harris County, located in the Houston, Texas area, last Sunday.

A 19-year-old boy put his PS5 up for sale on the Internet and found someone interested, reports the ABC13. Both made arrangements to meet in person to make the transaction, but the person interested in the console ended up pointing a gun at the seller to try to steal the console.

The PS5 owner was shot and the suspect ran away and was unable to steal the console. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is already stable according to the latest reports.

So far, police have not revealed details about the suspect, who remains on the run.
