Miguel Ferreira will have gone out at night with friends on Saturday and never returned home.
According to Sendim Volunteer Fire Commander Carlos André, the young man’s vehicle “was found in a pine forest between Atenor and Sendim, around five in the morning on Sunday”.
It is there that the searches take place, which, according to the website of the National Authority for Civil Protection, involve 11 operatives and five vehicles.
There are already several requests for help on social media. “Parents, friends and family are desperately looking for him” reads one of the publications, where it is requested that “if anyone knows anything, please get in touch”.
SUPPORT OUR WORK. SUPPORT PROXIMITY JOURNALISM.
At a time when information is more important than ever, support regional and outreach journalism. Access to most VTM news is (still) free, but it is not free, journalism costs money and requires investment. This contribution is a way of directly supporting A Voz de Trás-os-Montes and its journalists. Our counterpart is independent and proximity journalism, but not only. It’s continuing to report despite all the confinement contingencies, without stopping for a single day.
