TEGUCIGALPA, HONDURAS.- A new death by covid-19 registered this saturday Honduran Social Security Institute (IHSS), after 64 days without reporting deaths from the viral disease.
The victim is a young man, 30 years old, and who already had his three doses of the anticovid vaccine. At the moment it is not known where or how the patient would have been infected.

The death from covid-19 in the last hours is added to another 54 that have been registered, only in the IHSS Specialty Hospital in the capital, so far in 2022. The above shows that the coronavirus pandemic has not been gone from the country as many have considered it.
Part of the population have erroneously neglected the biosecurity measuresthey do not avoid crowds and the use of a mask has been abandoned by a part of Hondurans.

In 2022, in the IHSS of the Central District there have been 18 deaths from covid in January, 28 in February, from March to May no deaths from the virus were reported, and in June there is already one victim.

The Cardiopulmonary Institute of the Thorax registered the death of a woman from covid-19 this week. The first death after months without the pandemic claiming lives.
