Misunderstanding reigns and tributes flow in social networks for this young man hit by several projectiles from firearms while he was in the parking lot of a high school with three other people.
“The young man who died, you know, in Montreal North, we have beautiful young people. We have young people who are resilient, who are persevering, who want to get out of it and the young person who died yesterday was one of them, ”testifies the mayor of the borough, Christine Black, in an interview with TVA Nouvelles.
Ms. Black deplores this new death linked to armed violence in the metropolis.
“We invest so much energy in our community, with our young people, precisely to allow them to progress, to take other trajectories than that of crime, and to see this young person, at the dawn of his life. adult, to die riddled with bullets on the spot, almost, it is appalling”, she says.
