A 19-year-old hiker twisted and fractured an ankle on Thursday April 28 around 8:30 a.m. on the heights of Muhlbach-sur-Munster, between Gaschney and Petit Hohneck.
Specialized mountain firefighters came to his aid by land, as well as a doctor from Smur and two gendarmes from the Haut-Rhin high mountain platoon with the civil security helicopter.
This resident of Reims (Marne), who was walking with friends, was airlifted to the Pasteur hospital in Colmar.
