Young FC Utrecht extends dramatic series of drifting Roda JC

It is the seventh time in a row that Roda has lost points in the competition. Jurgen Streppel’s team has also not scored for almost a month. The last goal was scored against Telstar on October 19. The last victory dates from September 18.

Young Utrecht took the lead just before half time through a nice curl from Othman Boussaid. Fabian Serrarens, who came in at Roda, was close to the Limburg equalizer in the second half, but the game was over when Tim Pieters made it 2-0 ten minutes before time.

Eindhoven – Dordrecht 5-1
FC Eindhoven has by a resounding victory FC Dordrecht jumped up the rankings. The club won 5-1 on Monday-evening and is now ninth.

Eindhoven quickly ran away from Dordrecht at home. After fifteen minutes, Mawouna Amevor opened the score and before half-time it was 2-0 and 3-0 by Hugo Botermans and Brian De Keersmaecker. The connection goal by Kevin Vermeulen shortly after the break gave Dordrecht some courage, but Eindhoven quickly ran further away. Jort van der Sande made 4-1 after 58 minutes.

The best goal of the evening was from Joey Sleegers. He bounced the ball beautifully over the Dordrecht goalkeeper after a tailor-made cross from Van der Sande.
