Candy Corsino, 25, was waiting for some fries inside a Kennedy Fried Chicken in the Bronx early on Saturday, July 2, when suddenly several women began to offend herthey grabbed her by the hair, threw her to the ground and beat her together.

“Before they started attacking me, one of them said: she is very ugly, I bet you she has extensions in her hair”, explica Candy.

And he adds that he did not know those women.

The events occurred around 3:00 in the morning at 198 East 167th Street, where the business is located, near Sheridan Avenue.

“They kicked me and hit me in the face, and one told me that she was going to cut my face. At that moment I felt very scared”, adds Candy. “One recorded while they beat me.”

“Because you are ugly, false and plastic”

At one point, Candy managed to escape outside the establishment, but the women chased her.

“I tried to get into the car and one of them got in the middle. I tell him: why you hit me?and she replies: because you are ugly, false and plastic”.

“There they pulled me by the hair again and hit me on the head,” he adds.

In a video of the attack, it is seen that someone inside the car grabs Candy by the legs to prevent the women from taking her out of the vehicle, while they pulled her out by the hair. Candy is seen in a horizontal position, as if in the air.

The victim said that those inside the car were her cousins, that they had gone out with her that night and at various times tried to stop the aggressors.

“One of my cousins started saying: let’s call the police and, at a time when they released me, my cousin started the car and we left”, narrates Candy. “When the police arrived, we were on the corner. They ran away. We made the report to the authorities.”

“I felt confused, shock”

As a result, Candy remained in the hospital for several hours and suffered swelling of the face, bruises on the eye, on the cheeks and on various parts of the body. Besides that she pulled hair from her and she bled from her mouth.

“I felt confused, shock, I was shocked. He wouldn’t stop crying. Then in my house I felt rage, ”she indicates.

“There was a time when one of them asked: why are we giving it?and the other responds: I don’t know, it doesn’t matter. And they laughed. They wanted to have fun. They also said: this is a performance. As if they were making a movie where they acted. They implied that it was something funny for them”, concludes Candy.

And he ends by saying: “I hope that doesn’t stay like this. I ask the authorities to please help me, because tomorrow it could be someone else.”
