At the end of January, Ole celebrated his first birthday, unfortunately not with his master or mistress, but in the animal welfare association in Frankfurt am Main and the surrounding area, which has been urgently looking for a new, loving home for the unlucky one for a few weeks.
The housebroken Kangal mix or livestock guardian dog was sold to its then owner on Ebay classifieds. But the animal caretakers literally dropped their jaws when they found out which breed Ole was declared by the seller.
Because the mixed breed, which is listed as a dog in Hesse, was actually offered as a shepherd dog – apparently without the buyer noticing. When Ole then arrived in his new home, the shock was great, the seller was already over the mountains and the resulting excessive demands were ultimately at the expense of the loving furry friend.

According to his previous owner, Ole should be compatible with other dogs and even cats. And the Kangal mix is also extremely friendly towards people. However, those responsible for the Frankfurt animal shelter emphasize that Ole is only suitable for experienced breed connoisseurs.
The mixed-breed dog, which is now in the middle of a boorish age, is not yet on a leash and often seems excited when going for a walk, even if it usually does not pull on the leash.
