Kochi> Young director Manu James (31) passed away due to jaundice in Kumilangad. He died while undergoing treatment at Rajagiri Hospital. He is the director of Nancy Rani starring Ahana Krishnakumar, Arjun Ashokan, Aju Varghese, Sunny Wayne, Lena, Lal etc. Unexpected death happened when the film was about to release. Manu James made his acting debut as a child star in the 2004 film I Am Curious directed by Sabu James and later worked as a co-director in the Malayalam, Kannada, Bollywood and Hollywood industries. He is the son of James Jose in Kumilangad Chiratthidam and Cecily James in Etumanur Plathotam. Wife is Naina Manu James of Pittappill, Kandanad. Siblings: Minna James (USA) and Philip James (USA).
