Young catcher from Mexico pulls his “rifle” behind the plate in the NCAA

This is the young man named Poncho Ruizwho plays for Mater Dei Catholic HS (San Diego), has been excelling behind the plate for some time and recently proved one reason why.

Ruiz has an enviable arm behind the plate, in his most recent game he made a masterful throw to shoot Alex Lopez in a steal attempt at second.

Poncho Ruiz’s favorite player is nothing more and nothing less than the Los Angeles Dodgers’ lefty starter, Julio Urías, who has stolen the hearts of many Mexicans who are involved in the world of sports.
