Wow, I don’t know: is flipar still a scene that kids say or was it only in the 90s? Please let me know in the comments, but until then it is like that: you will pass with the flip camera of the new ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip. The new equipment maintains the features in common with the Zenfone 7, but ASUS has made some adjustments to the photographic module that are at another level.
Well, where to start when talking about a smartphone with a mobile photographic module that frees the screen from any interruption to the front camera?

Visually it is difficult to distinguish the Zenfone 8 Flip module from that on the Zenfone 7. Both have three cameras horizontally and similar functionality, but ASUS must have done a great job of brainstorming, and the photographic module has been improved with such a smooth engine which allows you to shoot while the module moves.
With this, it is possible to pan only with the module, with the ASUS firmly attached to a tripod and a motion tracking mode grabs a moving target and uses the mobility of the module to follow it. Wow, right?
In between, the module can be programmed for several predefined angles, which then gives us the advantage of being able to compose the images in another way, in much more interesting situations.
For the rest, the ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip is almost indistinguishable from the ASUS Zenfone 7. The trio of cameras remains a 64MP unit, accompanied by an ultra-wide 12MP and an 8MP zoom. Obviously, this setup has enormous advantages when it comes to maintaining consistency between normal photographs and selfieafter all, they are the same chambers!
The screen also has the same general characteristics: Super AMOLED of 6.67 ″, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10 +, although it has a higher brightness of 1000 nits and now integrates the biometric reader.

The most notable update will be the arrival of the Snapdragon 888, with a maximum of 12GB of RAM, and now also with an option for 256GB of expandable internal storage, since it is possible to use two SIM cards simultaneously and also an expansion card. The Snapdragon 888 obviously has added advantages over 5G connectivity, but it also raises Bluetooth to 5.2 and introduces aptx HD.
Since we are in the audio, the Zenfone 8 Flip does not have an audio jack, but it does have at least stereo speakers and NXP amplifiers, in addition to Hi-Res certification and Dirac tuning. Nice.
Last detail in common is the 5000mAh battery with 30W charge, compatible with Quick Charge 4.0 and USB PD.
