Wim Boekema already had a webshop full of non-alcoholic drinks for a few months, but as of today is making his dream come true with alcohol-free liquor store NIX & NIX in the center of Haarlem. ,,After working out I always drank quite a few beers with friends, nice and cold and cozy. But at some point you think: alcohol is not necessary for that, is it? That’s how it started: looking for a solution if you want to drink less but still want to have a good time with a festive drink,” he reports to Indebuurt.nl.

From wine to gin and from beer to whiskey
Ever tasted non-alcoholic wine and not so satisfied? Give it another chance, Boekema suggests. “The wines have improved enormously in recent years. They are made from the very best grapes and responsibly sourced.” And wine isn’t the only thing you can buy in the new store. “We sell non-alcoholic beers, but also gins, whiskeys and spirits that cannot be compared with any other drink.” Pure or for mixing, Boekema has many tips for its customers.
