Age has clearly taken its toll.
Today Leonid Agutin is still known throughout the post-Soviet space. He managed to keep his position, which cannot be said about his colleagues, with whom the artist started in the 90s.
At the dawn of his career, Agutin became famous for the imperishable hits “Hop, Hey, La-La-Lay”, “Barefoot Boy” and “Summer Rain”. His fame was ensured by a creative duet with the singer Anzhelika Varum, which developed into a passionate romance, and then into a long-term marriage. Agutin wrote songs not only for himself and his wife, but also for other famous artists and groups. He also became one of the record holders for the number of Golden Gramophone awards.
The singer still remains afloat and never ceases to delight loyal fans. And the army of his fans only increases over the years, and this can be understood. Now the 54-year-old artist looks like a solid and imposing man, even if in his youth he was not at all attractive. In the 90s, viewers constantly ridiculed Agutin’s image because of his disheveled hair and “crumpled” casual appearance of him. Fortunately, the artist took into account the mistakes of his youth and changed his style for the better.
