The audience did not understand that they were surrounded by a finger.
In Jan Fried’s film “Dog in the Manger” Armen Dzhigarkhanyan appeared in the role of Tristan, the servant of Theodore. Many fans didn’t even know that the actor didn’t voice the character of him.
The voice of the character was given by Igor Efimov. Celebrity turned out to be an ideal parody: his intonation and timbre could not be distinguished from those that the eminent actor could boast of. It was after this work that the artist was nicknamed the king of dubbing. In total, he has 60 dubbed roles.
The reason why Dzhigarkhanyan did not voice his character turned out to be very banal. The artist was too greedy for work and did not want to disappear into the recording studio at a time when he could be on the set of another project. Be that as it may, Tristan sang in the voice of Armen Borisovich himself. Apparently, things were much worse with Efimov’s vocal abilities.
