Viewers miss the familiar routine.
Russian viewers have long noticed that the daily routine of heroes in typical American cinema is very different from real life. Very often, Hollywood films show unhurried morning preparations: the whole family gathers in the dining room, has a quiet breakfast and discusses the day’s affairs. Then, in the same composition, everyone goes by car, and one of the parents who goes to work still takes the children to school.
Plus, some characters even get to go for an early morning run. The network has already criticized this on-screen lifestyle. According to users, it is absolutely fake. After all, very often people exist in a hurry in the morning, trying to have time to cook breakfast, collect children for school and put themselves in order. Also, traffic jams along the way are not excluded. And it doesn’t matter where it happens: in Russia or in America.
The audience emphasized that the life shown in the cinema of the USSR was very different from such a painted picture. The directors didn’t try to embellish the routine, rather, they recreated it down to the smallest detail. Suffice it to recall how in Athos the plumber took off his shoes at the entrance to the apartment, and it became clear that in this way he pays tribute to cleanliness in the house, writes the Zen channel “Cinema – Graphia”.
