Nowadays, household appliances have by now become part of our complete daily life, thus managing to carry out a large part of our daily actions within the domestic environment.
Between washing machines, dishwashers, electric ovens, microwave ovens, dryers, refrigerators and so on and so on, there are really many household appliances that we use every day, also considering all the energy consumption they involve and the resulting expenditure , above all considering the expensive energy that is afflicting the entire European continent in recent times.
Today in particular we will give particular focus to the microwave oven, an appliance that is now increasingly common in the homes of millions and millions of Italians, for cooking lunch and dinner in a really simple and fast way.
Like any self-respecting appliance, even the microwave is certainly no exception to the rule and requires constant cleaning and maintenance, since it tends to get dirty and encrusted due to the continuous contact with the food we introduce into it, and it is therefore good to clean it painstakingly so as not to compromise its regular functioning. How do we clean the microwave oven effectively? Let’s find out which are the most used and indicated methods for a complete cleaning.
First of all, take a basin of water, in which you will squeeze the juice of two lemons, together with the remaining pieces. Insert the container inside the microwave itself, and then immediately activate the maximum heating power of the oven.
How does it work
With the concomitant increase in heat, the water will consequently turn into water vapour, and will actually attack all the adjacent walls of the microwave oven, which are back from days (if not weeks) of continuous encrustations due to contact (direct or indirect) with different foods. This will allow all the fatty substances to detach from the inner surface of the microwave wall, and consequently the microwave oven will be cleaned of all these substances.
At this point the next step begins, in which you will need to obtain a preferably moistened cloth, which you will pass over all the internal walls, in such a way as to remove the most insistent traces of dirt. This is a really useful method, considering that it is an absolutely economical method, and which does not include the use of highly polluting products for the environment, among other things.
Furthermore, the previously cut lemon can be used in the kitchen for various purposes, thus avoiding wasting it.
