The new week in “The Cherry on the Cake” offers expectedly good combinations in personal and household terms. SHE will be in pairs: football player Lyube Spasov and his wife Dafinka, rock dinosaur Dicho and his better half Karina, actress Vasilena Vincenzo and her beloved Kaloyan, the star family of Naum Shopov and Tea Minkova and the artistic couple Alexander Sano and his wife Nelly.
Chef Manchev will not evaluate one, but two, and the desire to win will also be two.
The youngest among the lovers Naum and Tea, the future Shopovi family, will start. They will bet on Balkan tastes – Turkey, Serbia and Bulgaria will meet on the plates of the guests. Chef Manchev’s task will surprise them, but the adaptation will be quick. There will be no lack of love, mood and garlic in the kitchen, and one of the guests will break the mood of the whole big company.
Tuesday is the day of the Sano and Nelly family and the traditional Bulgarian dishes. The task will be so well woven into the menu that everyone will be delighted. The dessert will have a Christmas flavor, and some sarma will disturb the harmony of the couple. The leading role will change with each dish, and in the end both will be the directors of the perfect dinner.
Dicho and his wife Karina will prove that rock and cooking can go hand in hand. The menu will not be just vegetarian, because the products in it will be mostly grown in the family garden. There will be understanding between the hosts, and natural tastes will be present in the glasses. Why will the number 5 start dinner and how big will the surprise be?
Kaloyan and Vasilena will present themselves to the guests fourth in a row. She has been honored at theater festivals more than once, but will she and her partner be able to win a culinary award? Their request will be ambitious, because Kaloyan is a chef with a view to tastes. A culinary blunder will darken their mood, but only until the arrival of the guests, who will leave in tears.
The family week cannot end before the last referee signal of Lube and Dafinka Spasovi is heard. The menu will feature Lyudmila Zhivkova’s favorite dessert and Valentin Mihov’s snack, which will become a delicious part of the traditional Bulgarian dinner they will serve. The reception will provoke applause and big smiles, and dinner will be a fitting end to the week.
