Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Billionaire Elon Musk, owner of the social networking site Twitter, tweeted in Arabic, responding to criticisms that Arabic hashtags contain a lot of advertising and spam tweets.
The owner of Thunayan’s account wrote a tweet on his get to know page, in which he said, “As for the Arabic hashtags, they are still full of random tweets! Whenever I see an Arabic hashtag, I can’t find any an original or meaningful tweet, as they are full of advertising and spam.” I hope for a reform.
Musk responded by tweeting in Arabic, saying, “You will.”
Interestingly, Musk sparked widespread interaction after announcing the dissolution of Twitter’s board following his successful acquisition of the company, according to a file filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
