The talented actress managed to “deceive” the audience.
Galina Polskikh became famous for her role in the film “Wild Dog Dingo”, which was released in 1962. In the tape of Julia Karasika, she played the main role of schoolgirl Tanya Sabaneeva, who was only 14 years old. The audience was delighted with the soulful play of the young actress, but few people guessed how old she really was at that time.
As it turned out, by the beginning of filming in “Wild Dog Dingo” Galina was already a student at VGIK. There she met director Faik Hasanov, and a year after the wedding she gave birth to a daughter, Irada. And after replenishment in the family, the 23-year-old artist received an offer from Karasik.
The director was not embarrassed that his artist was no longer a teenager, but a mother and a happy wife. He was still confident in her talent, and outwardly she really looked like a schoolgirl. As a result, Karasik was not mistaken with his decision: Polskikh instantly became a star, and “Wild Dog Dingo” became one of the main films of the era.
