The filmmakers kept the secret for many years.
The film “The Adventures of Pinocchio” is rightfully considered one of the brightest fairy tales of the USSR. Leonid Nechaev managed to create a story that instantly fell in love with millions of Soviet viewers. At the same time, not everyone noticed an unexpected discrepancy that can be found throughout the tape.
The fact is that the artists, when preparing the main character Dima Iosifov, could not do good makeup. Most of all they suffered from a false nose, which just stuck to the face of a young actor and did not fit them with its shape. As a result, according to the Zen Film pro channel, in the final scenes, the length of the nose turned out to be one and a half centimeters shorter than in the beginning.
The public did not notice the discrepancy. Thanks to the ingenious work of cameraman Yuri Elkhov, the mistake remained a secret for fans of the tape.
