A solid low pressure, which has been named Ellen, ravages the form dinner on the coast of Western Norway on Friday. The weather is moving north, but the state meteorologist emphasizes that there is no reason for great concern in northern Norway.
The low pressure weakens considerably on the journey up the Norwegian coast.
– Tomorrow the low pressure will come here, but there is not much wind left. We get a lot of rainfall. Now it looks like the low pressure will come in the afternoon on Saturday, says state meteorologist Ola Mellem to Nordlys.
Before the precipitation front comes in on Saturday, however, it is both summer temperatures and long periods of sunshine that await people in Troms.
– It is important to spend the morning tomorrow. If we are lucky, we can get 19-20 degrees, says the state meteorologist.
After Saturday, there is little that will remind of summer, the forecasts show.
– We get north winds next week and temperatures between five and ten degrees, says Mellem.
