You only have a few days left to see these films on Netflix

Several films are soon leaving the Netflix catalog. So you only have a few days left to (re)discover these programs.

Sometimes bad news leads to good news. Indeed, among the multitude of films that will soon leave the Netflix catalog, we find several horrific works, which gives us a good reason to prepare for the arrival of Halloween!

Dark Shadow

For example, we can prepare for the arrival of Halloween with the horror comedy Dark Shadow. Of course, this is clearly not one of Tim Burton’s best films, but the universe proposed is rather nice.

As a reminder, we follow the story of Barnabas, a vampire played by Johnny Depp. After having been asleep for two centuries, the vampire wakes up in 1972, in a time he knows absolutely nothing about.

The funeral wedding

If Dark Shadow has not remained in the annals of Tim Burton’s career, The Funeral Wedding is undoubtedly one of his best films. We follow the story of Victor, a young man who accidentally marries a dead bride. Victor will then find himself embarked on a journey through the world of the dead.

Produced in stop-motion, the feature film presents itself as an unparalleled gothic work. Plus, the magnificent soundtrack by Danny Elfman tops it all off.

Van Helsing

Seemingly nothing, Van Helsing has attracted quite a few spectators and still gets people talking about him from time to time. We follow the story of Gabriel Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman), a monster hunter. Speaking of monsters, the film mobilizes a multitude of them, including some cult ones like Dracula, various vampires, the werewolf and even Frankenstein’s creature.

If some special effects have aged somewhat, Van Helsing remains a film that is still worth seeing.

Several cult works by Monty Python

This October 31, three cult Monty Python works are leaving the Netflix catalog, namely: Holy Grail!, Life of Brian and the series Flying Circus composed of 4 seasons. These three works are the very essence of British humor and absurd humor. You should therefore not be allergic to this style.

For others, it’s a good excuse to rewatch certain cult scenes, like the scene with the killer rabbit in Holy Grail!.

Barbarous

It all started when Tess decided to rent an Airbnb during a stay in Detroit. So far, nothing unusual. However, once she arrives there, the young woman realizes that a man named Keith is already occupying the place. Kaith and Tess will then decide to live together for one night, before realizing that the basement of the house is home to an unspeakable evil.

If we can debate the quality of the different acts, Barbare is overall an effective and rather original film.
