Whether the Passat turns 50 as a new car in Norway is by no means certain. Everything indicates that the Passat will disappear from the Norwegian market very soon. Electric cars are taking over.

At Volkswagen, it is the ID.4 electric SUV that is by far the bestseller of the moment.As a new car, the Passat has almost disappeared.

However, as a used car, it will be available for a long time. There are over 1,000 of these cars for sale in Norway right now.

It could soon be the end of the VW Passat

Practical and functional interior, without it being distinguished in so many ways.

This is how much they cost now

Prices start at approx. NOK 700,000 for very nice and almost brand new cars in the Alltrack version with all-wheel drive and lots of equipment.

You can get a 2016 model without the bigger engine and front-wheel drive for NOK 160,000 and so it didn’t even go particularly far. It is still a fantastic and practical car for the money.

From there, the Passat can be found in all price ranges, right up to the scrap yard.
