According to local media such as the Bin Fruit News and Free Times on the 18th, a 60-year-old aunt living in Nantou in central Taiwan was beaten by the parents of a five-year-old girl while visiting a karaoke room on the 13th and died on the 16th. The parents suspected that Lee had molested her daughter.
As a result of the police investigation, the girl who visited the karaoke room with her parents met Lee in the bathroom while looking for her father who went to smoke, and then followed him to the parking lot at the back door of the karaoke room.
After a while, the child returned to his parents, but the parents felt the daughter’s behavior was strange. After investigating, I learned that Mr. Lee had committed obscene acts to his daughter.
The angry parents went out to find Mr. Lee, and when they found him on the road opposite the karaoke room, they dragged him to the public toilet at the night market 25m away and beat him.
Lee, who suffered a severe injury with bleeding from a fracture of the four major ribs, was taken to the hospital after a report from a nearby street vendor, but died after three days.
Nantou prosecutors summoned the parents of a child who had been punished privately on charges of injuries and negligence, and set bail of 15,000 Taiwan dollars (about 580,000 won) each. In addition, it was decided to conduct an autopsy to determine the exact cause of Lee’s death.
Lee’s granddaughter is known to complain of resentment, saying that his grandfather is not a person.
