Apple released a new update on Tuesday for its iOS 14 and asks its users to download it as soon as possible. The Cupertino company explains that there are vulnerabilities in the old version and hackers could seize your data.
3 major flaws would have been discovered in the previous version of Apple’s operating service. The company believes they may have been ‘actively exploited’ by hackers.
If Apple is still renowned for the security of its devices, it does happen that certain vulnerabilities appear. The first two flaws are in the webkit, an open source search engine used in particular by Safari. The third flaw is in Kernel, an operating system framework. These flaws were discovered by ‘an anonymous researcher’, says Apple. The company has certainly been warned by a White Hats hacker, who infiltrates certain software to improve security.
The firm will not give further details of possible attacks ‘until an investigation has taken place’, explains Business Insider.

Security vulnerabilities affect iPhones from model 6s and iPad Air 2 and later. To protect their devices, users are advised to update the Apple phone or tablet as soon as possible. IOS 14.4 has been available since last night. To access it, you must go to your settings and then on ‘General’ where you will find ‘software update’.
The new update also fixes a bug in the keyboard and the ability to read smaller QR codes.
