‘You don’t walk alone’ | Radio Rioja | Today for Today La Rioja

The Units against Gender Violence of the Government delegations of La Rioja, Navarra, Aragón, Castilla y León and Galicia, autonomous communities that are part of the Camino de Santiago Francés, this year promote the campaign “You do not walk alone” to reinforce the safety of women who undertake this Jacobean Route unaccompanied.

Within this initiative, the dissemination of diptychs and posters with the message “You do not walk alone” has been planned in different locations on the Camino de Santiago, which include a QR that links to the telephone numbers for women’s attention (016, 062, 091) and to the closest resources where they will be served.

In La Rioja, the Civil Guard and the National Police have begun to distribute this material to the hostels in Logroño, Navarrete, Ventosa, Nájera, Azofra, Cirueña, Santo Domingo de la Calzada and Grañón. In addition, after the collaboration agreement signed in July by the Government Delegation against Gender Violence and the General Council of Pharmacists’ Colleges, this informative poster will be distributed throughout this week in the pharmacies of these municipalities through which it passes the Camino Frances de Santiago.

This material can also be found in the barracks of the Civil Guard and the National Police and local police stations of La Rioja.
