“You don’t attack people on physical defects”

Mario Giordano responds in kind to Fedez, who on social media had pelted him with heavy criticism (“sewer of journalism”) and had addressed him an impertinent and provocative question. Giordano takes the pebble off his shoe live on ‘Fuori dal coro’.

Mario Giordano against Fedez live on ‘Fuori dal coro’

New chapter in clash between Fedez and Mario Giordano. This time it is the journalist who sings them to the rapper, live in prime time in the episode of Tuesday 21 February.

Fedez, says Giordano, “attacked us by accusing us of something that does not exist and that is of wanting investigate his sexual tendencies. But we never thought of doing it and we never will.”

“Anyone who knows us knows that we deal with the problems of Italian citizens, dear Fedez. I’m sorry if that disappoints your vanity.”

“Dear Fedez, in the meantime I wanted to reassure you. My testicles yes. I am quietly detached and everything is fine.”

Then Giordano moralises the rapper: “As for the voiceyes I know, it’s mine physical defect which also made me suffer for a long time in life. In life there are those who have a physical defect and those who have another. I have this”.

Then the lunge: “It amazes me, however, that you, the champion of civil rights and great defender of civilization, cling to the physical defects of others. If you have something to tell me for what I think, say it. But you don’t attack people on physical defects. Especially if you are the champion of civil rights”.

Fedez vs Mario Giordano, the story

The background: as is known, during his performance in Sanremo the singer Rosa Chemical involved Fedez by first mimicking a homosexual relationship and then kissing him on the mouth. Exhibition that caused a stir and controversy.

A week after the Festival, Fedez published a message on social media to attack Mario Giordano: according to the rapper, the conductor would have put a journalist on his heels to dig into his past in order to look for evidence of his alleged homosexuality.

Fedez therefore made the followers hear a vowel from the alleged journalist of ‘Fuori dal coro’.

The rapper’s video ended with an invective (“Out of the cloaca chorus of journalism”) and with a direct insult to the conductor: “Many Italians wonder if Mario Giordano still has his testicles attached to his scrotum”.

Fedez finally greeted Giordano with a “Ciao Marietto!” yelled in falsetto to ape the conductor’s voice.

The journalist doesn’t just work for Giordano

After Fedez’s video, several center-right personalities, politicians and others, raised their shields in defense of Giordano.

Before his televised reply, the presenter had already explained to ‘Corriere della Sera’ that the reporter in question is a collaborator of various editorial realities and not only of ‘Fuori dal coro’: “She works for various Mediaset programs and also for us, but I cannot answer for everything a person does”.
