The first edition of “Big Brother” caused a real frenzy. Millions of viewers sat in front of the screens, closely following the fate of the daredevils trapped in the Big Brother house. Many of them became famous after the program ended and still have many fans and sympathizers. The show was won by Janusz Dzięcioł, who fought in the final with Manuela Michalak and Małgorzata Maier. The viewers also had great sympathy for: Klaudiusz Ševkovic, Piotr Gulczyński and Alicja Walczak.
Alicja Walczak in the first edition of “Big Brother” was considered the sexiest, but also the most controversial partner. She had her own opinion from the very beginning and was able to fight for it. Viewers loved her strong character and determination. After the show ended, Alicja returned to her beloved Gdańsk. The experiences of the program made her focus more on spiritual development and looking for what is most important in life: harmony and order.
Today Alicja Walczak is 56 years old. She still looks beautiful and it’s hard to believe that she left the show 23 years ago. How does she manage to stay young and in such good shape?
– The way we look is the result of our internal communication, how we think, what is our view of the world, because awareness is the most important thing in our lives. When we are with people with whom we feel good, our energy has a positive effect on our appearance, and I am now surrounded by beautiful people. Personal and spiritual development has always been important to me and it certainly affects my health and well-being, both mental and physical – Alicja tells us.
Apart from the spiritual side, Alicja also puts a lot of emphasis on everyday and more serious things. When we talk to her, we can feel the joy and energy she could bring to many people.
– I am careful about what I eat, but I am not on any diet, I just listen to my body. However, the basis is movement. I go to the gym and fitness regularly. I am generally active. I just came back from Italy, where I loved the colors, the smells and the swimming because I love water. I even have diving certifications. I like to travel, but I’m also active every day, I go to interesting events, concerts, and I’m among people. Everything related to movement, music and dance attracts me, Walczak tells us.

After completing the program, Alicja Walczak graduated. She graduated in political science and journalism. And then the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. What does the participant of the cult edition of “Big Brother” do now?
– Painting took control of my life. I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and I paint, I also organize exhibitions and I am happy that my paintings are being sold. Art and beauty have always played an important role in my life. I also often host different events, I feel very good on stage and I like communicating with people – Alicja tells us, and when asked how much she has changed since the programs, she says.
– Today I am more aware of myself, the world and what surrounds me. This balance definitely helps me feel and look good. I am a free man, said Alex.
