Many drivers are disappointed with how much cheaper diesel, gasoline and LPG are. The hot announcements sparked the hope that the vending machine would be cheaper by about 30 groszy per liter everywhere. It turned out, however, that the price movements were not as large everywhere as expected. This led to the search for the cheapest petrol stations.
Diesel, gasoline and LPG at a lower price
Taking advantage of the pre-holiday shopping rush, customers began to appreciate petrol stations, incl. next to supermarkets. There they can refuel really cheaply. Especially that during this period, customers are even lured by lower prices to park the car next to it and do some shopping. A lot of people just get it.
And the prices in such places look really good. And they are basically similar to the reductions expected by drivers. You can refuel diesel for around PLN 5.70 / l, gasoline for PLN 5.60 / l, and LPG around PLN 3.10 / l. No wonder that such price values attract drivers like a magnet. After all, not so long ago, they had to pay more than PLN 6 / l.
But it is not only the gas stations at shopping centers that are tempting. Virtually in every city there are points where prices are very similar and you can see more traffic there. Competitiveness also greatly affects drivers’ wallets. The stations know that the sooner they sell fuel, the cheaper they will be. Wholesale prices have recently gone down.
Cheap petrol stations are back in fashion
It is worth noting that in recent months there has been no similar situation. It was hard to tell the cheaper petrol stations from the more expensive ones. All of them offered fuel prices of a very similar value. The reason was the high wholesale prices that led to a stalemate. There was nothing to get off of, and it was necessary to offer diesel, gasoline and LPG at the best price.
Therefore, it was the same everywhere. But now the card has turned and it is back what it was before. Drivers therefore have more choice in deciding where to fill up with fuel. It is worth bearing in mind that the UOKiK is constantly changing the quality of fuels, and this is at a very high level everywhere. Therefore, it is impossible to talk about the situation that somewhere there is worse fuel, and somewhere better. Only the issue of components may differ.
