Suara.com – Whatsapp new features, which was introduced Wednesday (15/12/2021), can be used by users to listen voicemail or voice note, for example to check for errors, before the sound recording is sent.
How to use this new WhatsApp feature is quite easy. Here are the steps:
- First, open the WhatsApp application on your phone and open the contact you want to send a message to
- Press and hold the mic symbol on WhatsApp, just like when you want to send a voice message
- Slide the mic symbol up, so hands-free mode is active
- Start talking, convey the message you want to send
- Press the red square/stop that appears in the middle after you finish speaking
- Press the triangle/play sign on the left to listen to the voice message you want to send
- Press the delete button at the bottom left if you don’t want the voicemail to be sent
- Press the send sign on the right if you want the message to be sent
WhatsApp says that the new feature is expected to help users practice, as well as listen to voice messages before they are sent to others.
Suara.com, on Thursday (12/16/2021) checked the Android version of the WhatsApp application and this feature is already available in Indonesia. It is not yet known whether this feature is also available on the iOS version of WhatsApp.
