The Minsk city organization OSVOD warned that the ice on all reservoirs is rapidly melting and access to it is prohibited. And showed a warning video.
In the TG channel of the capital’s OSVOD, in addition to information about the ban on going on the ice, posted video from the Zaslavsky reservoir. The rescuer clearly shows how dangerous seemingly quite thick ice is in such weather.
“The top layer froze, and now that the temperature is above zero, it has thawed. At first glance it’s solid, but in reality it’s just porridge,” said the rescuer.
From the video it becomes clear that under the “porridge” there is another layer of ice, already thin.
“Under such conditions, you can go under water just once or twice,” the rescuer warned.
Earlier, Telegraf wrote that the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus reported that raids were being carried out on the frozen reservoirs of the republic. At the same time, rescuers promised to fine violators in the amount of 2 (74 rubles) to 100 basic units (3,700 rubles).
