The popularity of gas heating is constantly growing. However, this year’s price increases have contributed to a reduction in the wealth of Poles’ pockets. On the other hand, high costs can be relieved.
Gas surcharge for heating
The solution to the troublesome situation is the gas addition. It is for those households whose income is below a certain threshold.
An additional condition for the refund of VAT for gas is heating the house with it. According to Interia.pl, a boiler is required for this, which is entered or reported to the Central Register of Emissions of Buildings.
As mentioned above, the main element of the supplement is the income criterion. The subsidy is granted to those farms that do not exceed the income of PLN 2,100 per person. in a one-person household or PLN 1,500 per person in a multi-person household.
Several ways to submit
There are several ways to submit an application, according to Interia. This can be done in person at the commune office or social welfare centre. Sending the application by post is also possible.
The third way is submitting an application online. This option is provided by the ePUAP portal via a “general letter to a public entity”.
Three important attachments
Regardless of how the application is submitted, three documents must be attached to it. According to Interia’s information, they are proof of payment of the invoice, a copy of the contract with the gas supplier and a copy of the invoice for the purchase of gas.
To submit an application everyone has 30 days from receiving their first gas bill. However, you can get a refund throughout the calendar year.
