1. Press the menu button
First of all, Apple’s Weather App Launches on your iPhone then press the menu button in the lower right corner of the screen.
2. Select Notifications
NOW, tap the three-dot menu icon in the upper right corner and select Notifications.
3. Grant permissions
If you haven’t already turned on notifications for the Weather app, now is the time to do so. When prompted, Press Continue, then confirm by by selecting Allow.
You will also be asked if you want to receive critical alerts from the Weather app. If you press Allow, You will hear a sound and see a notification on your lock screen whenever there is a significant weather event.
4. Allow location access
Under Current Location, check if it says that Access is still required. If that is the case, press Go to settings. On the next screen, select Always in the options list, then tap the small Weather icon in the upper left corner to return to the app.
5. Activate next hour precipitation
With Always Granted access, you will be able to use the toggle button to enable next hour precipitation. You might also enable extreme weather conditions if you wish. You will now receive alerts if rain is forecast in the next hour.
