Premier League football is best watched with a beer in hand in the Brabant football stadium. Nothing new of course, but it is now also studied. The half liter of beer at NAC, PSV and RKC is the cheapest in the Netherlands, at 5.95 euros. And in 020 you pay almost one and a half euro more for the same glass.
So NAC, PSV and RKC are still under six euros. All the other Eredivisie clubs charge more for a glass of beer. This is evident from figures that website Biernet.nl has requested from all Eredivisie clubs.
Someone who attends every home match of PSV, NAC or RKC and drinks one beer per half costs 202.30 euros in a season. Willem II’s supporters may dig a little deeper in their pockets. In Tilburg, half a liter costs 6.50 euros. A beer for a season at Willem-II will cost 221.00 euros according to the same calculation method.
In Amsterdam they pay the highest price: 7.25 euros per half-liter. Experience the season of Ajax will cost no less than 246.50 euros for one glass of beer per half. In other words, at PSV, NAC and RKC you can drink seven more beers per season and still be cheaper than an Ajax player. A fan who likes more than one per half is actually even cheaper than an Ajax supporter with the same thirst.
In recent years, the price of Eredivisie club beer has only increased. In 2019, Dutch football supporters paid around 9.85 euros per liter of beer on average. This season that price is now at 12.60, a price increase of almost 28 percent. At the three cheapest clubs, a liter of pilsner costs 11.90 euros. In the King Willem II stadium you pay a little more than the average: a liter of beer costs only 13 euros.
