“You can buy all the components from AliExpress” – A video displays a Ukrainian intelligence representative revealing the internals of an Iranian Shahed drone.

A representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) showed reporters of Radio Liberty what the Iranian-made strike drone Shahed consists of. Plot published on YouTube March 27.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down drones Shahed of two modifications: Shahed-131 and Shahed-136. According to a representative of Ukrainian intelligence, who asked not to be named, the occupiers more often use Shahed-136 bThe oval part weighs 40–50 kg. At Shahed-131 warhead is smaller – “20 kg of TNT”, they were used much less frequently.

The story says that in the structure of the UAV “everything is simple.” The CRPA antenna is the most valuable thing in a drone. With its help, the drone opposes the Ukrainian means of electronic warfare.

“We can buy all these electronic components on AliExpress… Most of them are foreign-made: Japan, China, USA. Most of the components were handed over to our foreign partners so that they could impose sanctions so that these electronic components would never again enter Iran and be used against us,” the representative of the GUR said.

Ukrainian experts came to the conclusion that most of the components were made by Western countries and because of the sanctions, these parts should not have got to Iran, the author of the material noted.

Although Iran denies that it supplies the Russian Federation with drones, Ukrainian experts find Farsi inscriptions inside the UAV. At the same time, most of the inscriptions on the UAV are in English, but foreign experts found grammatical errors in them.
