There are PCs at all prices, from 300 euros to more than 3000 euros for the most demanding machines. And you, how much are you willing to pay? This was the subject of our survey of the week.
Since the Covid pandemic, the laptop market has exploded. At the house of Frandroidwe have been testing it for several years, and even more and more since 2020 and the redesign of the site with even a section dedicated to this universe.
A price for each use
It is sometimes difficult to find oneself in the jungle that represents the PC universe, with its dozens of references bearing almost the same name, with or without one letter. In addition, depending on their range, these little beasts are able to meet very different uses: from the person using it only for light office automation, to image professionals, through students, players and players… there is something for everyone and therefore for all prices.
Result, if it is customary to say that the prices of smartphones have spread considerably in recent years, oscillating from 150 to 2000 euros approximately, the PC is even more comfortable with machines close to more than 3000 euros for the most expensive devices. .
How much are you willing to pay to buy a PC?
For these reasons, it seemed relevant to ask you about this thorny subject: what price would you be willing to pay for a laptop if you had to buy one tomorrow?
At the end of the survey, it is clear that the results are relatively balanced by pair of responses. The budgets “800 to 1099 euros” and “1100 to 1499 euros” dominate the debates with respectively 27.7 and 21.7% of the votes.
Behind, another binomial is placed at the heart of the classification: the ranges of “500 to 799 euros” and that of “more than 2000 euros”, for once located at the antipodes. They collected, in order, 16.2 and 15.6% of the votes.
At the bottom of the pack, the most affordable expense, “300 to 499 euros” is the least popular with 8.5% in its favor, overtaken by a short head by the “1500 to 1999 euros”, listed at 10.3 %.
In the end, we notice that the highest budgets exceeding 1000 euros – admittedly, slightly overrepresented in the choice of answers – tend to suit more people, ready to put their hand in their pocket to buy a machine worthy of this name.
