Kamen Vodenicharov got angry with the deputies because of a vote in the National Assembly.
“Brutal disappointment from all the deputies who voted “against” or “abstained” the proposal to make May 24 a national holiday of Bulgaria! Mostly from my acquaintances, colleagues and friends whom I know from the parliamentary groups of DB, PP and ITN! Because I know you are reading, I will tell you honestly – You are very bad! But a lot!!!“, he wrote on his Facebook profile.
We remind you that the National Assembly rejected the proposal to make May 24 a national holiday.
The request to change the Labor Code was made by GERB, and the parliament rejected it with 61 one votes “against”, 63 – “abstentions” and 77 votes “for”.
This is what GERB-SDS deputy Petar Nikolov wrote on Facebook:
“This is the result of the vote on the proposal to make May 24 a national holiday of Bulgaria! Apart from the proponents from GERB-SDS, ZA, 1 MP from PP, 19 from DPS and 4 from DB voted.
The rest chose for our national holiday to continue to be a date that divides us and that we use mainly to thank and praise another country.
It is unfortunate, but our cause will not be abandoned by this – we have lost the battle, but we will win the war. God save Bulgaria!”
