At the final show, which took place in hall 2 of the National Palace of Culture, the audience selected the song with 48.05% of the votes.
For the first time in the history of the selection of a Bulgarian song in the Eurovision Song Contest, viewers could vote during the entire TV show. They chose from five songs, all performed by Miro (Miroslav Kostadinov).

So far, Bulgaria has participated in “Eurovision” five times. Our biggest success is from 2007, when the song “Water” by Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankulov-Stundji ranked fifth. The worst result belongs to Krasimir Avramov, who last year came in 16th place out of a possible 18. At Eurovision, we were also represented by the now defunct group Kaffe (2005), Marianna Popova (2006) and Deep Zone and Balthazar (2008).
