Known for its high-tech capsule hotels, Yotel will add a second hotel in New York, in addition to the one opened in 2010 near Times Square. This time, the brand will not settle in Manhattan, but in Long Island, in a rapidly evolving high-tech district that will soon host Amazon’s new head office.
With 178 cabins equipped with Smart Bed and having multiple power and USB points, free ultra-fast WiFi and Smart TVs, the future Yotel will also have work and meeting spaces, multifunctional public spaces and a fitness. Guests can also enjoy a rooftop terrace and bar overlooking the Manhattan skyline.
With this development, Yotel continues to expand its offer of urban hotels in parallel with its initial concept dedicated to major global hubs. If Yotel Air is expected next year at Istanbul’s new airport and in Singapore Changi, new downtown Yotel will soon appear. in other large metropolises. In addition to those already open, in Manhattan therefore, but also in Boston and Singapore, the brand will set up next year in San Francisco, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Glasgow and London, in the Clerkenwell district. In 2020, Yotel will continue its urban development in Porto and Dubai, then in Miami in 2021.
