OAXACA, Oaxaca. January 23, 2022.- The York Regular Grand Lodge appointed the dancer Aleida Ruiz Sosa as a distinguished member, who has distinguished herself in society for her activism against child marriage.
In his Facebook account he shared that he had “the honor of receiving the Distinction as Distinguished Member of the SC Santo Arco Real de México, I thank the great York Regular Lodge, a very special thanks to Resp. Grand Master Arch. Efrain Morales Sanchez”.
In the publication she added feeling grateful “I want to translate this happiness into COMMITMENT, a real, sincere commitment to action and not to words that can only be heard very well in a speech, I reaffirm my commitment to be an ally to build better opportunities for girls, boys and adolescents who were not fortunate enough to have what it takes to exploit their skills”.
I have traveled to 15 communities so far and in each of them I have seen poverty, child marriages, underage pregnancies, he shared.
But I have also seen, he added, spontaneous and sincere smiles, energy, solidarity, and a lot of talent.
Giving the workshops I have been surprised to discover countless capacities, wonderful talents, I have had pleasant surprises but also enormous frustrations for not being able to do much in a world lacking in stimuli and sometimes with a lot of violence and poverty.
Today I thank you and I want to honor this recognition with the commitment to try to follow the straightest path in the best possible way, added Ruiz Sosa.
It is clear to me that first of all I must build myself as a person day by day so that this allows me to help build a better world, and not just a world without poverty, we need to rebuild our values, our harmony with nature, and continue every day learning, because knowledge is the key because this will allow us to understand the world and give more accurate answers for the well-being of all.
Without a doubt, I want to continue walking in search of a world with equal opportunities, since it is not possible for a group of people to live in excess of superfluous things while a hungry multitude lacks what is necessary. Teaming up is joining forces.
