She graduated in “Pharmacy” at the Medical College of the MU “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” in Varna, the Business Academy “Dimitar A. Tsenov” in Svishtov and “Health Management and Medico-Social Care” at Varna Medical University. He has over 13 years of experience as a pharmacist. Before taking the post of a national representative, for the last 10 years Kostadinova was part of a team that enjoyed successfully treating patients with the help of the leading German pharmaceutical company – Berlin-Chemie/A. Kostadinova believes that life-long learning is mandatory if one wants to keep up with the times, improve and be useful. Therefore, she attends educational courses, participates in seminars and in various organizations with a social, charitable and cultural orientation. He is about to defend his thesis at the NBU, “Political Management and Public Policies” profile.

Mrs. Kostadinova, what is the first thing you will do as regional governor of Dobrich region?
I assume the position of District Governor of Dobrich District with a sense of great responsibility and duty. I thank Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and the entire Council of Ministers for the trust they have placed in me. Of course, the first thing I will do is to meet with the district administration team to assure them that together we will work for the successful implementation of the government’s policy at the district level, relying on their experience and professionalism. I am about to do a revision and analysis of the state of the regional administration. During the time during which I will lead it, I will work with all my might so that the Dobrich region appears again on the map of Bulgaria.
How will you work with other government institutions, local authorities and businesses?
Seeing cooperation with other institutions and the community is essential for achieving common goals in the Dobrich region. I believe that effective partnership and cooperation between the district administration, municipalities, businesses, educational institutions and civil society is what will lead to better results and sustainable development of the district.
What will be your main task at the head of the Dobrich regional administration?
One of my main goals is to create a stable and sustainable economy in the area that will provide jobs and development for all municipalities. I will work hard to attract new investment and support existing businesses in the area. The creation of appropriate infrastructure and support for entrepreneurs are important factors in attracting investment and promoting economic growth.
Among the problems of the Dobrich region is the state of the infrastructure. What are your commitments in this regard?
I know there are specific challenges related to infrastructure, transport and social services in our region. I am committed to working to improve the state of these areas and to build sustainable systems for water supply, waste water and energy efficiency. We will also continue to invest in education, health and social services to care for the well-being of our citizens.
As a people’s representative in the previous two parliaments, you had regular formal and informal meetings with the citizens of Dobrich region. Will the citizens be able to meet with you and share their problems even after you are the regional governor?
Listening and engaging with citizens is essential to successful governance and achieving common goals. I will strive to be available to citizens, support them and take their needs and opinions into account in the decision-making process. Transparency and accountability will be at the forefront of every level of my administration. I believe that they will contribute to the trust and commitment of citizens and interested parties in the activities of the regional governor.
I invite citizens and institutions to cooperate with me and the entire team of the Dobrich regional administration. I believe in the power of our union and the opportunities that lie ahead. Only through cooperation and joint action can we overcome the challenges and create a successful and prosperous area.
