“AstraZeneca has not been decided to limit vaccination for the elderly”
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety has announced that it has not yet decided to limit the vaccination of the AstraZeneca Corona 19 vaccine to the elderly.
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said in a press release today (30th) that it plans to thoroughly verify through a triple advisory meeting such as the’Corona 19 Vaccine Safety Effectiveness Verification Advisory Group’ to be held tomorrow (31st).
The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety is planning to disclose the results of the verification advisory group meeting on Monday, February 1st.
Earlier, German health authorities said the results of clinical trials for the elderly with the AstraZeneca vaccine were insufficient, and recommended only those under the age of 65.
