Mori apologizes for the remarks of the Tokyo Olympic Organizing Committee’s’disrespect for women’
The Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori, who caused controversy with her contempt for women, apologized for the remarks in question.
As opinions from both domestic and overseas raised issues and urged resignation, Chairman Mori withdrew, saying, “It was an inappropriate expression against the spirit of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. I deeply reflect on it.”
