The opening of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing is one year ahead.

The opening of the Tokyo Olympics, which had been postponed for a year due to Corona 19, is uncertain again, and China is confident in its success, but the mountains to overcome are daunting.

Most of the construction of the Beijing Winter Olympics Stadium has already been completed a year before the opening.

“In the year of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics countdown, preparations for various registrations have also begun to accelerate.”

China is confident of hosting the success of the Winter Olympics in Beijing, 14 years after the 2008 Summer Olympics.

As Japan issues the Corona 19 emergency and the Tokyo Olympics are unclear, China plans to use it as an opportunity to imprint the world’s success in quarantine.

“While China is successfully fighting the virus, it is making them realize that sports and the Olympics are one solution to overcoming COVID-19.”

However, due to the corona 19, test events for some sports are not held, and preparations are also hindered.

Human rights issues are also a stumbling block, as 180 human rights organizations around the world have argued against the Beijing Winter Olympics, criticizing the repression of minorities in China.

Some US Senators also submitted a resolution to withdraw the Beijing Winter Olympics, saying, “China, which oppresses Xinjiang and Hong Kong and Taiwan, should not hold the Olympics.”

The Chinese government pointed out that attempts to disrupt the Olympics for political purposes were very irresponsible, refuting that they would not be successful and would not be supported by the international community.
